Clarendon businessman Brandon Murray killed

The local football circle is in shock today after well-known football administrator and Clarendon businessman Brandon Murray was shot and killed in st Andrew yesterday.

Police say the incident took place about 4:45 pm, on West Kings House close, in the vicinity of the Mayfair hotel.

Reports are that an armed man approached Murray and shot him several times.

He died on the spot.

Murray was a co-founder and chairman of former premier league outfit sporting central academy

There are no official reports on the motive for the killing of the 47 year old Murray who lived in Osborne store – May Pen Clarendon.

Meanwhile president of the Jamaica football federation Michael rickets speaking from Russia says he is deeply saddened by the tragic passing of his close friend and colleague.
