by May 18th, 2017

Residents of at least two Clarendon communities were assisted today (May 18) with supplies from the government.

Labour and Social Security Minister Shahine Robinson says packages were airlifted to the residents by the Jamaica Defence Force around noon.

Residents were marooned following the heavy rains.

Mrs. Robinson explains that residents received food items and care packages.

In the meantime, Mayor of May Pen Winston Maragh says if necessary, measures will be put in place to supply other communities in need of supplies.
