Clarendon police probe burglary and arson at popular restaurant

by February 17th, 2018

The Four Paths police in Clarendon have launched an investigation into a burglary and arson incident at a popular restaurant in the community this morning (Feb 17).

Police reports are that about 2:00 a.m. thieves broke into the sweet and juicy restaurant and also set fire to the building.

It’s not clear what was stolen.

Meantime, Councillor Uphell Purcell of the York Town division says the incident has resulted in a great loss to the four paths community, as the restaurant served as a central meeting point for visitors and locals alike.

He also expressed concern about the safety of business operators in the wake of multiple attacks in recent weeks.
