Clive Brown celebrated in Football Extravaganza at the Lime Hall Community Centre

Irie Fm celebrity team went down one nil to the Lime hall All Stars yesterday at the Lime Hall Community Centre.

This in the fund raising football extravaganza for the former Irie Fm sports correspondent Clive Brown.

Avel Dawkins scored the all-important goal for the lime hall – all stars in minute 48.

The entire Lime Hall community came out yesterday to show their love and support to Brown who has been ailing for some time.

Kemtech construction and Development Company, Mount Pleasant Football club, the Lime Hall Citizens Association, former mayor of St Ann’s Bay- Desmond Gilmore and several private donors handed over cash contribution to brown who has been in the business of journalism for over 30 years.

The contributions were necessary to help towards Brown’s medical expenses.

National senior reggae boys head Coach Theodore Whitmore, former national player Michael Tulloch, sports journalists Ian Burnett, Sean Grant, Roger Hasfal and Robert Williams all featured for the Irie Fm celebrity team.
