A vendor at the Constant Spring Market is seeking an injunction against the Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC) seeking to prevent the demolition of the market.

The KSAMC had given all the vendors notice to vacate the facility, by tomorrow (Feb 22).

It’s reported that the market has to be demolished, due to rehabilitation works being undertaken along the Constant Spring main road.

Attorney at law Bert Samuels, who represents the vendors, said the injunction is expected to be heard early tomorrow morning, in the Supreme Court.
