by March 10th, 2020

Health Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton, during a press conference today said there’s a ban on travel, to and from France, Spain, and Germany, in addition to China, Italy, South Korea, Singapore, and Iran.

However, a few entertainers are slated to tour some of those regions. Protoje and Lila Ike are expected to make stops in Germany, Netherlands, Spain, France, Italy, and Switzerland on their European tour dubbed Lost Experiences.

Entertainers Richie Stephens and RDX are among the few artists who have openly stated that they will not perform or go to countries affected with Coronavirus.

Meanwhile, the threat of the coronavirus has caused the organizers of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, one of the world’s most popular music festivals to change the dates. New details are that Coachella will be held the week of October 9 to October 16, instead of April 10 to 17 due to the Coronavirus crisis.

Grammy-kid Koffee was slated to make her debut on the 2020 staging of Coachella.

Several other festivals are either postponing or pulling the plug altogether. The Stagecoach Festival is postponing from April 24 to October 23. South by Southwest cancelled last week, as did the Ultra Music Festival in Miami.

Jamaica today confirmed its first Coronavirus case.
