After nearly 20 months, the coastal town of Falmouth in Trelawny welcomed its first cruise ship, yesterday (November 14).
Carnival Corporation’s Emerald Princess dockedwith some 2,780 passengers and crew members.
Mayor of Falmouth Colin Gager in welcoming the passengers said he is hopeful that more ships will visit in the coming months.
Meantime, two ships docked in Ocho Rios, St. Ann, today (November 15).
Senior Strategist in the Tourism Ministry, Delano Seiveright told Irie Fm News that this is good news for the industry.
