Minister of Culture and Entertainment Olivia Grange has announced a ninety million dollar special Covid-19 support package for members of the Entertainment, Culture and Creative industries.

The new 90 million dollar package is double the 40 million dollars that was originally announced.

Ms. Grange said effective immediately, the ministry is accepting applications for grants of $60,000 per individual.

She estimated that one thousand individual grants will be awarded.

Noting that the sectors have been negatively impacted by the pandemic, she said the grants are necessary.

Ms. Grange said members of the sectors should visit the ministry’s website to apply for the grants.
