by August 31st, 2017

Cricket West Indies has fired the entire management staff of the West Indies Women’s team following the dismal at the ICC Women’s World Cup in England earlier this year.

The staff, led by coach Vasbert Drakes, was shown the door after the team lost 5 out of the 7 match World Cup schedule as well as 2 of the 3 warm up matches.

As well as Drakes, the management team comprised assistant coaches Ezra Mosely and Stuart Williams, operations manager Ann Browne-John, physiotherapist Oba Gulston, fitness coordinator Hector Martinez-Charles, performance advisor Donald La Guerre, video data analyst Trent Sargeant and media relations advisor Adriel ‘Woody’ Richards.

Reports are that their contracts, which Cricket West Indies issues on a tour by tour basis, have not been renewed.
