One year and twelve days after Jamaican singer Dalton Harris won popular U.K. talent competition the X-Factor, Dalton has finally released his highly anticipated first solo single as an X-Factor winner.

On Sunday, Dalton Harris premiered the single ‘Cry’ in a live performance on the X-Factor’s Band Finals, with a simultaneous official music video release on his YouTube channel. The single is currently available for streaming and purchase across all digital streaming platforms.

Former fellow international talent show winner of The Voice Tessanne Chin and reggae singer Romain Virgo shared in Dalton’s premiere by reposting a preview of his new single on their social media pages.

On December 2, 2018, Dalton became the first Jamaican to win the X Factor and signed a Music record deal with X Factor creator Simon Cowell’s SyCo record label.
