Veteran dancehall singjay Ronnie Thwaites is the subject of industry chatter following reports that the entertainer is being sought by the New York City (NYC) police for assault and stabbing.

According to a report from New York’s 47 Precinct, allegations are that the 51-year-old intentionally stabbed an slashed a male victim multiple times about the body, causing life-threatening injuries. 

The man is reportedly in hospital in stable condition.

Music News understands that the incident occurred on September 20 in the vicinity of White Plains Road and East Gun Hill Road in New York.

Ronnie Thwaites who is still at large, is best known for his 1991 hit Mr. Luxury (Wickedest Time) released on the Jammy’s Label.
