D’Angel escapes Bermuda rejection

A few Jamaican entertainers slated to perform in Bermuda on Saturday were left high and dry after immigration officials revealed that the show was cancelled and work permits issued were null and void.

Dancehall entertainers Vershon, D’Angel, and Demarco were among the headlining acts slated to perform on the event dubbed BDA Music Summer Fest.

D’Angel who was looking forward to her first performance in Bermuda, said she learned of the cancellation while in New York.

 

Meanwhile, entertainer Vershon was made aware while at the airport in Bermuda. Our Music News source confirmed that the singjay received a call from the promoter who stated that the show was cancelled. Vershon was subsequently barred from entering the country.

Music News understands that the event was cancelled due to an issue with permits.

Several attempts by Music News to get a comment from the organizers of the BDA Music Summer Fest were futile.
