Dancehall deejay D’Angel, through her Angel Foundation, has joined forces with the likes of Beenie Man, G-Whizz, and Singing Melody for an online concert to raise funds towards Jamaica’s COVID-19 relief efforts.

In keeping with social distancing, and Stay Home guidelines, the online concert hosted by TripleX is slated to take at 2 pm on Friday, May 1.

D’Angel tells Music News she aims to feed at least one thousand Jamaican families through the provision of care packages to those in need.

D’Angel’s efforts see her joining many local and international social media influencers and entertainers who have been using their various platforms to reach out to those most in need.

Jamaica currently has 350 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 7 deaths and 28 recoveries.
