Darren Bravo returning to test cricket in 2018

by May 18th, 2018

There is no hope of Trinidad and Tobago’s Darren Bravo returning to test cricket in 2018.

That’s the word from CEO of West Indies cricket Johnny Greaves, who said Bravo would not be featured in the upcoming home test series against Sri Lanka in June and the two-test matches with Bangladesh immediately after.

The 29 year old has not played for the west indies since his infamous twitter message against cricket west indies president Dave Cameron in November 2016.

The left-hander had slammed Cameron for spreading misinformation concerning his contract, and labelled the president as a “big -ediot” .

Both bravo and the board have since settled their differences, and graves added that bravo could be eligible for the West Indies a’ team and work his way back from there.

Greaves explained, though, that himself and director of cricket jimmy Adams will make one last approach to Bravo to determine where he stands on playing cricket for the west indies again.
