Defending champion Roger Federer marches in Australian Open final

Defending champion Roger Federer marched into the final of the Australian Tennis Open after getting by South Korea’s Chung Hyeon who was forced to quit in the second set of their semi-final match today.

Federer swarmed all over Hyeon before he was forced to quit with blistered feet trailing 6-1 5-2 .

Federer will now meet Marin Cilic in the final on Sunday. Cilic reached the final after rolling past Britain’s Kyle Edmund 6-2, 7-6, 6-2.

The women’s final tomorrow, features Romania’s Simona Halep up against Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark.
