New  reggae  boy  Demarai  Gray  has  been  named  in  the  2023 Concacaf  Gold  Cup  best  eleven.

Grey who  made  his  reggae  boyz  debut  at  the  Concacaf  Gold  Cup, played  5  games, scored  2  goals  and  had  2  assists , while completing 86 percent of his passes for the reggae boy.

He was  also  in  the  Concacaf  best  eleven   at  the  end  of  the  group  stage  when  Jamaica  took  second  spot  in  group  d  behind  the  USA.

9  time  champions  Mexico  has  5  players  on  the  list……goalkeeper   Guillermo Ochoa, Johan Vasquez,  Jorge Sanchez and  Orbelin Pineda.

Four  players  from  beaten  finalist  panama  are  also  in  the  side…….Fidel Escobar, Edgar Barcenas, Adalberto Carrasquilla  and  Ismael Diaz,  while the   American  Jesus Ferreira  completes  the  eleven.

 In  the  meantime  the  Mexican keeper  Guillermo Ochoa won  the  gold Cup best goalkeeper award.

Overall, Ochoa finished the tournament with nine saves.

He is  the only man to have won five gold cup titles, one better than Damarcus Beasley and Landon Donovan .
