Several dental assistants protested outside the Finance Ministry’s office in Downtown Kingston, this morning, over salary issues.

The placard bearing dental assistants are reportedly upset over the government’s failure, to pay them their new wages under the restructured compensation system.

General Secretary for the Union of Technical Administrative and Supervisory Personnel, UTASP, St. Patrice Ennis, told Irie FM News that the workers are restive and are calling on the Finance Ministry to address the matter.
