Derek Rose reaches deal with Cleveland Cavaliers

Former Mvp Derrick Rose has reached an agreement on a one-year deal with the beaten 2017 NBA finalists the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The move adds depth at the point guard position to a Cleveland team looking to make its fourth consecutive trip to the NBA finals.

Rose who averaged 18 points and 4.4 assists per game last season for the New York Knicks, is set to take home the veteran minimum salary of $2.1 million.  He didn’t call out Rose by name, but the five emojis he prefaced his message with made it clear who he was speaking to. Lebron stated, “Let’s Rock G!!” .

The 28 year old now becomes the 6th number one overall pick who will play alongside Lebron James.
