Police are probing the discovery of the charred remains of eight people in Spring Hill, Trelawny, last evening (August 2).

Preliminary reports are that at about 6:15 PM, residents of Stewart Castle were walking along the Spring Hill main road when they stumbled upon the remains.

The police were alerted. Upon their arrival, the 8 charred remains, which included human skulls, were discovered.
