Ding Dong appointed Cultural Ambassador

Dancehall entertainer Ding Dong, on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of West Indian American Day Carnival, received two awards in Central Brooklyn, New York, on Friday evening.

Presented to him by Congresswoman Yvette Clarke, Ding Dong received a certificate of special congressional recognition, and was officially appointed as a cultural ambassador, for consistently representing Caribbean culture, and raising the standard of entertainment.

Ding Dong also received the New York State assembly certificate of merit, given to honor his official appointment as a cultural ambassador.

The Ravers leader was presented with both awards after his performance at the New York Carnival week show.

In two Instagram video posts of him collecting the awards, Ding Dong expressed his gratitude for the recognition, and thanked all his family, his team, and supporters.
