Dr Dunn welcomes contract for Junction Road rehabilitation

by October 2nd, 2017

JLP candidate for South East S. Mary Dr. Norman Dunn has expressed appreciation to Prime Minster Andrew Holness for signing the contract for the rehabilitation of the Junction road in St. Mary.

Many have raised concern about the timing of the plans to fix the roadway, at the height of campaigning ahead of the by-election to choose a new member of parliament.

Speaking at a Jamaica Labour Party meeting in the South East St. Mary constituency last evening (Oct 1) Dr. Dunn lamented that many people in the area do not have access to proper infrastructure, piped water, electricity, and internet service.

While calling on party supporters to vote for the JLP in the upcoming by-election, Dr. Dunn noted that several roadways in the constituency are in a deplorable state.

He stressed that the Junction road needs to be fixed.

He revealed that he has crafted a development plan for South East St. Mary and promised constituents that the plan will be implemented.
