Opposition Leader Dr. Peter Phillips has again chastised Prime Minister Andrew Holness for not indicating who will take up the role as minister of Science, Energy and Technology.

The portfolios are being managed by the office of the Prime Minister, following the separation of Dr. Andrew Wheatley in the wake of controversy about Petrojam and National Energy Solutions Limited (NESOL).

Speaking at a People’s National Party (PNP) meeting in St. Catherine, yesterday (August 12), Dr. Phillips noted that the Prime Minister is meeting with the various boards that fall under the Science, Energy and Technology ministries.

He said not appointing a minister to handle the portfolios is halting the process of reform.

Dr Phillips chastised the Holness led government for not being able to manage running the country, saying Holness should lock it down.
