by March 26th, 2017

President of the People’s National Party, Dr. Peter Phillips has underscored the party’s recommitment to confront directly the root causes of poverty and inequality in Jamaica.

Dr. Phillips says the next PNP government is determined to undertake the most ambitious land titling project ever as part of the initiative.

Dr. Phillips says tackling root causes of poverty will require ending squatting and ensuring that land is provided for the landless.

Dr. Phillips says the PNP will also be approaching the issue of housing for majority of the people.

He says the PNP will adjust and upgrade the mission of the National Housing Trust (NHT) to ensure that more Jamaicans get access to affordable housing.
