Members of the Rise United and One PNP presidential campaign teams will meet next week to iron out issues identified during the 90 day campaign period up to last Saturday’s internal presidential election.

Party President Dr. Peter Phillips was challenged by Peter Bunting in Saturday’s election, but emerged victorious.

Speaking at a press conference this morning, the re-affirmed People’s National Party President noted that he met with his challenger yesterday and discussions were had on the way forward.

Dr. Phillips said Bunting and those who supported him can be assured of his highest consideration and comradeship towards them.

The PNP President emphasized that there will be no victimization of Bunting’s supporters.

As it relates to the party’s code of conduct, Dr. Phillips said the breaches reported during the campaign period will be dealt with in short order.

Mr. Phillips noted that the party will be undertaking investigations immediately to see if there are foundations to the allegations raised.
