17 year old Jamaican international Dujhan Whisper Richards has been named as a training only member of English Premier league team Chelsea who have announced their 29-man squad ahead of the pre-season tour of America.

Richards who was officially announced as a chelsea signee in June was a part of the Reggae Boyz squad that participated in the just concluded Concacaf Gold Cup where they lost to eventual champions Mexico in the semi finals

He also scored a goal against Trinidad and Tobago in the group stage of the tournament.

Richards will officially join the Chelsea team when he turns 18 in October

Meanwhile, Chelsea and their head coach, Mauricio Pochettino, have left for the United States ahead of matches against Wrexham, Brighton, Fulham and Borussia Dortmund.

Having sold or released more than ten members of their first-team squad from last season, Chelsea are taking a young group of players with them to America as they prepare for the 2023/24 EPL season under new management.
