Member of Parliament for North West St. Ann, Dr. Dayton Campbell says the Dumbarton bridge in St. Ann is now open to vehicular access.
The old bridge, which linked Discovery Bay to Brown’s Town was washed away during flood rains last December.
Works began in April of this year to replace the bridge.
Dr. Campbell says, although there are some final touches to be made, the bridge is about 90 percent complete.
He says it will be officially opened in the next couple of days for the new school term.
