Dust Nuisance Spurs Temporary Relocations

by June 21st, 2015

The China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) will be facilitating the temporary relocation of a number of residents from Chalky Hill and Steer Town in St. Ann.

This is due to the dust nuisance, which the residents are experiencing as a result of the road construction taking place in the areas.

Chairman of the St. Ann Parish Council, Mayor Desmond Gilmore says the relocation will last for about three months then the residents will return to their homes.

Mayor Gilmore adds that the residents are responsible for identifying their temporary dwellings.
