Double  Olympic  gold  medallist  Elaine  Thompson  is  among  the  big  stars  on  the  entry  list  for  the IAAF Diamond  League  final  for  2019  in  Zurich  on  Thursday .

She  is  in  a  top  quality  field  for  the  Womens  200  metres  which  features   two Olympic champions, the reigning world champion and   last year’s European champion…………….Shaunae Miller-Uibo of  the  Bahamas, Dina Asher-Smith  of  England and  Dafne Schippers  of  the  Netherlands  are  all  on  the  entry  list

Yohan  Blake  is  listed  for  the  men’s  100  metres  along  with  the  American  pair  of  Justin  Gatlin  and  Noah  Lyles and  south  Africa’s  Akani  Simbine.

The  list  also  has  Janieve  Russell  running  in  the  Womens  400  metre    with  Dalilah  Muhammed  and  Ashley  Spencer  of  the  USA  and  Zuzana  Hejnova  of  the  Czeck  republic, while  Stephanie  Ann  McPherson  is  on the  list  for  the  Womens  400  metres.

Tajay  Gayle  is entered  for  the  men’s  long  jump  and  the  Women’s  triple  jump  has  Shaniela  Rickettes  and  Kimberley  Williams.

The  final  meet  of  this  seasons  diamond  league  season  which  will  feature  some  16  finals  will  be  the  43rd AG Memorial Van Damme on  September 6 at the king Baudouin stadium in  Brussels.
