The fastest woman in the world Elaine Thompson- Herah leads a cast of 9 Jamaicans down to compete in the Muller/Birmingham Diamond League meet on Saturday, the second stop on the Diamond League calendar. 

Thompson- Herah will run in the women’s 100 metres along with Olympic relay gold medalist Shericka Jackson, where the pair will face off with American Gabby Thomas, and Britain’s Dina Asher-Smith. 

2011 World Champion Yohan Blake will compete in the men’s equivalent. 

Olympic champions Hansle Parchment and Omar Mcleod jointly lead the Jamaican trio in the men’s 110 hurdles, which also includes Rasheed Broadbell. 

Commonwealth Games  gold medalist Janieve Russell and her compatriot Rhonda Whyte will compete in the women’s 400 meters hurdles, while Olympic 400 meters semi-finalist Christopher Taylor will line up in the men’s 400 meters. 

Olympic finalist …middle distance runner Natoya Goule is listed for the women’s 800 meters.
