Elderly entertainers could get COVID vaccine

by February 12th, 2021

Elderly entertainers and music practitioners may stand a better chance at getting the vaccine that is expected to be on Jamaican shores by the end of February.

According to Prime Minister Andrew Holness, the government will prioritize access to the vaccines for the persons most at risk, which includes health care and front-line workers, and the elderly.

The COVID-19 vaccine is a controversial topic for some entertainers. Veteran singer Coco Tea did not mince his words last year when he openly rejected vaccination.

Buju Banton and Chronixx are also among the entertainers who are anti vaccines.
