An elderly man is dead and another in custody following a dispute on Patrick Road in Mandeville, Manchester this morning (June 26).

Dead is 74 year old Aspry Walters.

According to Head of the Manchester police Superintendent Wayne Cameron, shortly after 10: 00 a.m. Walters and another man, who is in his late 70’s, were in a conflict.

It’s alleged that a piece of board was used to hit Walters in the face.

Walters died on the spot.

Superintendent Cameron expressed concern that an elderly man is involved in this incident.
