France clipped Japan 2-1 to remain unbeaten in two games in group E, while  Honduras recorded their biggest win at an  under17 World Cup, as they struck five times to see off new Caledonia 5-nil.

While in Group F’ action in Kolkata England held on to defeat two-time champions Mexico 3-2 and Iraq meanwhile, built on their first point in the competition on Sunday with a maiden under17 World Cup victory over winless Chile ,taking the game 3-nil in the late contest.
