Entertainers Fund Back to School

by August 25th, 2017

With back to school only a week away, a number of dancehall entertainers are dipping into their good will pockets to fund several back to school treats.

Sizzla, Busy Signal, Charly Black, Chi Ching Ching, and Chris Martin are among some of the entertainers who have already organized treats that will help parents and students with back to school expenses.

Sizzla through his Sizzla Youth Foundation, and his Dare to Care treat, presented a scholarship to his 2017 recipient in August Town.

In his hometown Buxton St.Ann, Busy Signal through his 20/20 Helping Hands Foundation donated over 2 million dollars worth of school supplies last Sunday.

Trelaway’s own Charly Black hosted a treat in Albertown Square Trelawny on Thursday, and will today host another treat in the Rio Bueno Square. In his post on Instagram, Charly Black implores “Parents bring out the kids to get books and bags and other school supplies.”

Sunday August 27 will see Chi Ching Ching hosting his treat at the Stony Hill Primary and Junior High in St. Andrew.

Then on September 1, Chris Martin through his Christopher Martin Foundation will host his treat at the Watermouth Primary School in Watermouth St. Catherine.
