Entertainers Cecile, Zagga, Lila Ike, Mr. Lexx, and Kemar Highcon are among the social media users expressing shock following the death of the reputed cult leader, Kevin O Smith.

“Something not right”, “A Jim Brown this all over again” and “Wul on Wah???” are some of the expressions used by social media users following news of Smith’s death.

The controversial leader of the Pathways International Kingdom Restoration Ministries, who was expected to be charged today in connection with the murder of two church members during a religious ritual, died in a motor vehicle accident along the Linstead bypass, while being transported from Montego Bay to Kingston on Monday (Oct 25).

According to Senior Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay, Head of the Constabulary Communications Unit (CCU), a policeman also died in the crash, while two other police officers remain unconscious and in critical condition.

Kevin O Smith has been in police custody since last week Sunday, and was interviewed by police detectives in the presence of his attorney on Saturday, October 23.
