by May 5th, 2017

The condition of roads was one of the issues brought to the attention of Prime Minister Andrew Holness, at a town hall meeting in Ocho Rios, St. Ann, last evening (May 4).

The complaint was made by an elderly woman who resides in the Epworth community, on the outskirts of Ocho Rios.

Prime Minister Holness, and other cabinet members and representatives from the Municipal Corporation, were in attendance to provide citizens with updates on government’s plans and projects.

The elderly resident expressed frustration with the process one goes through, seeking to have the road fixed.

In response, the Prime Minister stated that the woman argued a good case for her community.

He asked NWA Communications Manager, Stephen Shaw, and Mayor of St. Ann’s Bay, Michael Belnavis, who were in attendance at the meeting, to work together and fix the problem.
