Evin Lewis moves into top five in the latest MRF/ICC T/20 international batting rankings

West Indies opener Evin Lewis who has been in smashing form has moved into the top five in the latest MRF/ICC T/20 international batting rankings.

Lewis is now ranked 4th on the standings after climbing 11 places, just after  scoring a cumulative total of 108 runs in the just concluded T20 series against Bangladesh which the west indies won 2-1.

However Shai hope is the best mover from the Caribbean after he climbed up a whopping 82 places to 80th, and Nicholas Pooran up 16 places to a career-best 88th.

Babar Azam of Pakistan leads the batting rankings, ahead of New Zealand’s Colin Munro and Australia’s Aaron finch who lies third.

The best Caribbean movers in the bowling department were captain Carlos Brathwaite who jumped eight places to 22nd and Keemo Paul who climbed 42 places to 30th .

Meanwhile, there has been no change of positions in the team rankings with the ‘windies and Bangladesh retaining their seventh and 10th places, respectively.

The team rankings is being led by India, with England second and Australia third.
