Former National and Santos footballer Miguel “Bankie” Blair is now the occupant of a newly built house courtesy of Food For The Poor on Water Street in Rae Town.

Blair who has fallen on hard times has been living in sub standard conditions for more than a decade following a fire that damaged the original structure on the premises.

Having had his living condition highlighted by the media, Blair received support from former players, including former national player Michael Tulloch the head of the Unsung One Foundation, Jamballers, and the Sports Development Foundation.

Meanwhile head of unsung one foundation Michael Tulloch was grateful for the support.

Executive Director of Food For The Poor Craig Moss-Solomon says they were compelled to act on the need.
