A farmer was shot and killed in Old Bay, Westmoreland, last evening (November 5).

He has been identified as thirty-five-year-old Anukie Green, otherwise called ‘Stitch’, of Almanda Drive, New Town, Black River, in St. Elizabeth.

Police reports are that about 8:30 p.m., citizens heard explosions and summoned them.

Upon their arrival, green was seen suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigation continues.
