Meanwhile 2015 world champion Danielle Williams placed second in the women’s 100m hurdles.
She was timed at 12.82 seconds to finish behind American Sharika Nelvis who clocked 12.76 seconds.
In form Commonwealth Games 400m hurdles champion Janieve Russell was also second in her event, stopping the clock at 54.08s to finish behind American Georganne Moline who recorded a time of 53.97s, while Olympic champion Dalilah Muhammed (54.65s) was third.
In the meantime, Shericka Jackson finished down the track in the women’s 200m where she ran 23.14s for 5th behind Marie Josee-Talou of Ivory Coast who won in a season best 22.49 seconds.
Aisha Praught took 8th place in the women’s 3000m steeplechase where she was timed at 9:19.33 seconds.
American Christian Coleman ended up 4th in the men’s 100m in 10.06s, the event was won by his compatriot Ronnie Baker in a world leading and personal best 9.93s.
