Finance Minister Dr Nigel Clarke has closed out his term as chairman of the Inter-American development bank, (IDB).

Dr. Clarke chaired the boards of governors of the i-d-b and the Inter-American Investment Corporation for the period 2022 to 2023.

He was the first Jamaican in decades to be elected to the post.

Speaking during his final presentation as chairman on the weekend, Dr Clarke expressed hope that the (IDB) will continue to support the region and its institutions amid future challenges.
