St. Ann fireman Larenzo Douse, who was killed while on duty last year, is to be given a National Honour, posthumously.

Mr. Douse died after a motor car crashed into a fire truck along the Ocho Rios main road, last November.

In his sectoral debate presentation yesterday, Local Government Minister Desmond McKenzie also gave an update on plans to name the Ocho Rios fire station, in Douse’s memory.
