Jackson defeated Anthony Hylton.
Meantime, the new Deputy Chairman is Horace Dalley, beating his challenger, Patricia Duncan Sutherland.

Meantime, newly elected Chairman of the Peoples National Party, Fitz Jackson says he is humbled to be chosen as the man to continue, and build on the legacy of former Chairman Robert Pickersgill.
He says he intends to do his best to make the PNP more effective.
Mr. Jackson hailed former Chairman Pickersgill as a stalwart, and adds that he will be calling on Pickersgill for guidance.
He says among the areas he intends to tackle early as the new Party Chairman is the settling of internal issues.
