Jamaican reggae musician and singer Floyd Lloyd has died.

The singer born Lloyd Seivright died at the St. Ann’s Bay hospital on Tuesday, November 6. Music News understands that the entertainer complained of having stomach pains and was transported to the St. Ann’s Bay hospital where he died.

He was 70 years old.

Floyd Lloyd was best known for his 1982 hit, “Jah Jah Why.”
