Four killed in separate incidents in St. James, Clarendon and St. Catherine, yesterday

Four people were shot and killed in separate incidents in St. James, Clarendon and St. Catherine, yesterday (May 7).

Dead are 26-year-old Dennis Brown of Ramble Hill, Bogue, St. James, 33-year-old Jodi-ann Thompson of Bishop Lane Naggo Head, in St. Catherine, 32-year old fisherman Trimane Davis, and 19-year-old Timar Hall, other wise called “Pele” both of Rocky Point, Clarendon.

Brown was killed in the latest incident, in Ramble Hill, Bogue, St. James.

Reports are that at about 7:30pm, residents heard explosions and summoned the police.

On the arrival of the lawmen, Brown was seen in a motor vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Hours earlier, Hall and Davis were shot along the Rocky Point beach in Clarendon.

Reports are that at about 12:30 pm Hall, Davis, and 2 other men were sitting under a shed along the beach, when a blue Toyota Yaris motor car, drove up and gunmen alighted and opened fire hitting them.

The wounded men were taken to hospital where Davis and Hall were pronounced dead and the other two admitted in stable condition.

And, Thompson was killed in Naggo Head St. Catherine yesterday, morning.

It’s reported that at about 10:20 am Thompson was at a bus park, when she was pounced upon by a gunman who opened fire hitting her.

She was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The police are investigating the incidents.
