Two people were shot and killed and 2 others shot and wounded along Red Hills Road in St. Andrew, this morning (July 13).

The deceased have not yet been identified, but the police have confirmed that a woman and child are nursing gunshot wounds following the incident.

Head of the St. Andrew North Police division, Senior Superintendent Aaron Fletcher told Irie Fm News that the incident occurred at about 8 am.

SSP Fletcher said the incident appears to be linked to ongoing conflict in the area.
