The Financial Services Commission, (FSC) is to release its regulatory chronology of Stocks and Securities Limited, (SSL).

This following reports of an alleged multi- million dollar fraud at SSL, spanning several years.

The fraud is believed to have run from 2010 to 2023.

Speaking during a press conference on Monday, Finance Minister Dr. Nigel Clarke said the FSC

Dr. Clarke also announced that a new FSC board has been appointed following criticisms about the regulatory agency’s handling of the SSL situation.

He added that the Bank of Jamaica, BOJ, will adopt a regulatory model, which will see it taking over aspects of the mandate of the FSC.
