Entertainer George Nooks will be hauled before the court this Thursday to answer charges of cocaine possession.

Last year, the reggae singer was arrested and charged after law enforcement officials found a plastic bag with a small quantity of a white powdery substance, believed to be cocaine, was found in his 2016 Mercedes Benz.

The 56-year-old was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine on May 5, 2017, for breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act.

George Nooks will return to court on Thursday, May 24 when it is expected that his trial for possession of cocaine will begin.

The entertainer and his legal team believed that the singer was setup.
