The Organizing Committee of the Gibson/Mckook relays have yielded to the outcry by coaches and have decided to add the Class 4 component to the event which takes place next week Saturday February 26 at the National Stadium.

The organizers initially had scrapped competition in Class four as they looked at ways to manage the whole Covid 19 management protocols on the day.

However, in a change of heart they have decided to bring back the class four event which is seen as a development component as well as athletes getting their first taste of high school action.

Among the coaches to commend the move is coach of the Edwin Allen High team Michael Dyke.

Marlon James of St Catherine high was also pleased.
