As has been the case in previous years, girls continue to outperform boys in the Primary Exit Profile (PEP) examinations.

Education Minister Fayval Williams highlighted the statistics of this year’s PEP results during a press conference this morning (June 23).

She said the girls have excelled at Mathematics.

They also did well in Language Arts.

The Minister noted that for Science, the results for some boys were evenly matched with girls.

She said in social studies, the gender gap was also lessened.
