Godfrey Lothian confident heading into Table Tennis Election

Jamaica Table Tennis Association president Godfrey Lothian says his administration is confident they will receive the mandate of the affiliates at this Saturday’s election to continue leading the association.

Lothian who is vying for a third term in office, got a two third majority support who voted 72-35 in favour of the amendments of the new constitution on January 28.

In 2016 Lothian was unanimously elected as vice president of the Caribbean region table tennis federation (CRTTF), and that same year he hired Japanese Satoshi Takashima who worked for two years as national table tennis coach.

Speaking on the flag ship call -in programme what’s the score last night Lothian explained that he will continue to work despite the push back.

Asked about his challenger in Saturday’s AGM Karen Sinclair –Lym, the incumbent Lothian did not mince words.
